As far as the circus, try to have a good lean protein and good carb snack before you go in so that you are content only drinking water. If you can't bring in your own snacks or you really want to eat something there then have some peanuts in their shells and that is it. You don't have to suck the salt on the shell.

I am NOT shy about bringing snacks with us when we go to places like the circus. Low-fat string cheese, dried fruits, stuff that can sit in my purse w/o turning gross. It helps my blood sugar, and the kids' too, so we're ALL better behaved

I loled about the "why do I look stoned!?" If you lift the camera up a little bit so that you're looking up at it slightly, instead of down or even straight at it, it totally makes you look glamorous
