Welcome to Mamavation© Mondays! Mamavation© is a campaign that supports moms in healthy living changes. We are a virtual healthy living sorority AND a virtual boot camp for the Mamavation Moms. If you are interested in losing weight or implementing healthy lifestyle changes in your life, we would LOVE to support you. Through Mom, the gatekeeper to the family, we can make changes in the lifestyle of a family.
Join us this Monday night for a nutritional 101 with Mary Ellen Renna, M.D. (Twitter ID @drmary14.) Dr. Renna is the official Nutritional Coach to the Mamavation Moms and part of a small, pioneering group of physicians nationwide who have been certified by the American Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists. Which means she is “the” authority on nutrition and obesity prevention in families. We are very lucky to have her. She is also the author of Growing Up Healthy the Next Generation Way: Add Years to Your Child’s Life and Life to Your Child’s Years .
Every Monday moms who want to join the Sistahood pledge to our soroity. Moms pledge by creating Mamavation Monday posts and linking them up on Bookieboo.com in the Mamavation© group. They also leave comments on each others posts. This healthy living blogging carnival takes place every Monday. So if you join with us, you will automatically have numerous people looking at your post and supporting you in your journey.
If you are interested in pledging, please take the following steps:
1. Tweet and make friends. Mamavation© is about supporting others while they are supporting you. Use the #mamavation hashtag and interact and support your fellow moms.
2. Create a Mamavation© Monday post. Tell us what your challenges and successes were this week. (Since you are pledging, please also tell us a bit about yourself.)
3. Link that post up on Bookieboo.com in the Mamavation group here on Sunday night or Monday. Visit other moms blogs and support them in their journey. (Discussion post not up till Saturday night PST time.)
