After watching the videos, interaction on twitter, and reading all the applications, I’ve come to a decision. Just to be different and because I CAN, I’ve decided to choose 6 Finalists instead of 5. Yeah, I know I said 5, but it was too difficult to filter this group down even more, so I decided not to. I’m unpredictable like that.
If you find that your name is not on this list, I’m sorry, but I would recommend that you enter into the Earth Footwear Move It & Lose It Challenge for a chance to win $500 and a pair of Earth Footwear. I choose @all_about_savin precisely because she demonstrated to me how capable she was during the challenge last campaign and didn’t disappear on us after she wasn’t chosen. That shows heart and dedication and it impresses me. Hint hint for anyone who is thinking of applying again.
If you have found your name is on this list, congratulations! Now I need a couple of things from you:
1. I need you to show up for Mamavation TV Monday night as a guest of honor
2. You need to see the doctor as soon as possible so I get a doctors note clearing you from the following by July 12th: high intensity exercise, a calorie restricted diet, and the emotional capacity to handle the campaign. DM me and I’ll give you my fax number.
3. Invite everyone you know to the Mamavation Twitter Party Launch on July 12th.
4. Go get a “Fit Friend!” You need one by July 12th.
5. Get a pedometer so you can start tracking your steps.
6. Get a reliable scale, cause those scale pictures are going to be public.
Last piece of advice I’m going to give you is get creative. You will need more than just your social media friends voting for you to win, I would advice you to pull out all the stops to get the votes you need. Every Mamavation Mom that won used all her resources and was very clever with her voting plan. You won’t know what is happening because all the voting results are private, but if you have any questions, DM me with them. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have.
