As busy mom’s we always have something on our never ending to do list! We tend to put ourselves and our needs on the back burner.
Finding time to get a good cardio workout can be tough!! We have housework, children, and countless other responsibilities to attend to each day. I get it!! I am a busy mom to three little boys (ages 4, 2, and 10 months)!! Trust me, finding time to get my fitness in each day is a challenge.
It takes alot of hard work and planning!
The past 4 weeks we have been working on our #mamaguns. You have been doing a fabulous job doing your strength training each week! We are so proud of you and your accomplishments!!
To keep things interesting and moving right along with our fitness goals, we are going to challenge you to MOVE!
Welcome to the Movement Challenge!
The movement challenge is simply this:
- We want you to do some form of cardio SWEAT INDUCING exercise for atleast 100 minutes each week!
- Each Monday, when you link up your Mamavation Monday posts, you will log your minutes of cardio from the previous week.
- A winner will be chosen (via random.org) who was active atleast100 minutes the previous week ~ will be announced on MamavationTV
Studies recommend that you have a good sweat inducing workout atleast 3 times a week for 30 minutes. If you do the minimum cardio requirements you are already at 90 minutes… add a 10 minute power walk and you are at 100!

You can use any program (or technique) to log your daily fitness. I personally love and use dailymile.com and myfitnesspal.com .
We begin week 1 of the challenge TODAY and Week 1 ends 10/11!
