Mamavation Mondays: A Little Break

There will be no show on Mamavation TV this week on account of our fearless leader, Bookieboo, getting a well deserved break.

Please do link up your weekly blog posts so that we can keep on supporting each other.  Link up here.

Also encourage the Mamavation applicants that have already applied, or seriously consider applying yourself.  It is hard to put yourself “out there” in these kinds of social media campaigns but the support and accountability feel wonderful.  Trust me, I know from the last campaign where I still lost close to 8% of my body weight without being selected as a campaign mom.

Have a great Monday night everyone.  Hug your kiddos, your hubby, or give yourself a little bit of pampering during the hour you may have spent online with the Sistahood.  See ya next week.

I applied! Of course I could have actually made it to Mamavation TV tonight, but that’s okay. It’s nice to have some time off for sure.

With almost everything which seems to be developing inside this subject material, many of your points of view are rather refreshing. Nevertheless, I beg your pardon, because I can not subscribe to your entire idea, all be it refreshing none the less. It appears to everyone that your comments are generally not completely justified and in reality you are yourself not really thoroughly convinced of the point. In any case I did take pleasure in reading it.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
