Here are the top 3 things that I have learned from being a Mamavation Mom.
1. It is about progress not perfection!
If I made a mistake in the past, the old me would get so frustrated and give up. I would say, “I’ll just start again next week.” Next week would turn into weeks or even months. No one is perfect, it is okay to make mistakes. The important thing to do is pick yourself back up and continue on your journey. Do not let that one cupcake or brownie win.
2. Breathe!
Sometimes it is as simple as that. For me running is tough, really tough. Learning how to breathe while I run has really helped build my confidence and give me more success. I am also working on intervals by jogging then walking, jogging then walking, etc. It is about learning what is best for you to help you succeed, and always remember to breathe.
3. You are Stronger Than You Think!
I AM STRONG! I CAN DO THIS! I WILL DO THIS! Yes it is going to be hard work. Yes it is going to take time. Yes there are going to be ups and downs. But, yes I will and can do this! You can too!
So far as a Mamavation mom I have lost 10.6 lbs and 14 inches!!
Thank you for following along my Mamavation journey. Your love and support has meant so much to me. Thank you also to Alysa from InspiredRD and Pete Cohen from Weight Loss Guru, the Sistahood, Leah, Mark, Shelley and Andrea. And a special thank you to my fellow Mamavation Moms Laura and Andrea! You are both rocking it!
I look forward to continuing my journey and mentoring a future Mamavation Mom!!
Until next time!
Lolo from Crazy About My Baybah

I am so immensely proud of you!! I will always be here for you and I am going to need your support as we continue our journey. Love you!!
Congrats on your running and conquering it! Won’t it be funny to see where you are in a couple of months?? I bet you turn out to be a great runner!!
This has been such an incredible experience and I’m so glad I got to do it with you! You are doing wonderful! Keep up the great work!
I am so proud of all you’ve accomplished! You are an inspiration! Who knows, maybe you’ll learn to love running and we’ll be doing a race together.
You know I’ll be here for you in the future. We’ve only scratched the surface! We’ve got this!
Can’t wait to see you slip in your final pics and measurements.
Great advice! Yes, progress is so important. If it ever seems trivial or insignificant, just remember that if you kept up losing over a year that becomes an even bigger number! If I only lost a lb a week think of what that would be this Christmas? Never overlook those important small steps.
And yes, you are stronger than you think. (Though I would like to say those of us watching you already know this) It is hard to see when you are at the center of it all. I am so proud of your determination and hard work. Best of luck moving forward. I know you will do well and I am here to still offer help or advice after the campaign. You always have support!
You have done stupendously this 7 weeks. Just remember to keep the momentum going and you will rock this. Because you are totally spot on its not about perfection its about progression!
You have done an amazing job! And you are so right – you really are stronger than you think you are! The human body is an amazing thing! Good job!!
IT’s hard to believe you guys are all done. Time went by WAY too fast. I’m counting on you to stick around for the next 6 months and keep up with us.
I love how you are getting the fact that you have to just keep going instead of expecting perfection. That is such an important thing to learn. I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I did without that. It really is true. And to start things RIGHT NOW as you think of them…not to wait till a later date when it’s “convenient”…XXOO
It’s been amazing watching you dear!
You are so right, you are stronger then what you think! You did awesome and I can’t wait to see the final product through all this. I hope you will continue to blog about it on your blog too.
I am so proud of you!! You have said so many things through out your journey that sounds exactly like me. You are an inspiration.

Look at you! I can see the difference that your hard work has made! I can’t believe 14 inches! I think most of us look for numbers on the scale to feel like we have results, but ive learned from you that taking into account the inches is so much more telling!
You are a motivation to us all, I love how you say not to let one cupcake win…it is about being healthy for our families, feeling good about ourselves and being able to do what we want. Congratulations!

Congrats and keep it up girl! Super proud of you!
That’s awesome!!! I am down 19 lbs this year and I am amazed at how much better I feel already even though I have over 100lbs to go. I just started adding super small jogging intervals this week. And my shins are killing me. And I also know I don’t have the breathing figured out yet. Thanks for sharing so openly. Its great to know other have the same struggles AND successes!!!
