It is Week three of Mamavation, and I’m trying hard to keep up with everything. Being a Mamamvation Mom is not easy. We have to get in 10,000 steps a day, 100 oz water, circuits, and stick to our nutrition plan.
With everything else going on around me, it’s been a little hard trying to get everything done daily. I’m trying though, and that is a lot more then I could have said, before Mamavation.
This past week, the scale did not cooperate as well as I would have liked. But dammit, overall I have lost over 9lbs since applying to be a Mamavation Mom, woohoo!
Even more exciting then that, is FEELING better. More energy, which means more spending time together as a family.
Here’s a little more of what I had to say about this week…

Sounds like you’re keeping the right attitude. It’s all about forward progress. Its a lifestyle change and we won’t get it perfect everyday but each day we do better than we would have before is a victory in my book!!!
You are doing awesome!!!! It IS hard but you are making amazing changes for the better and your family will get to spend many, many, many more years with you as a healthy Mom.
You can do it!!! Just remember, even if the scale doesn’t move as fast as you want it to, you are getting healthier everyday!! I’m trying to lose weight too, and your post was really motivating for me!!
I love you and am so impressed with all you have been able to accomplish! One foot in front of the other! You can do this!
I love that you are making new Zumba friends! It is awesome to have a group of the same people to workout with.
keep up what your doing. You’re doing awesome. Love zumba.
have a great week
Just keep it up and you soon will see results
100 oz of water is a lot! I tried the other day and failed! =( But I’ll keep trying! =)
Keep up the great work!! Enjoy Zumba!
You’re doing an awesome job! Just putting in the work is a daunting task and you’re killing it!
you are doing great! the number don’t always cooperate but some time you feel smaller check inches.. You are doing great!
I think you hit the nail on the head with how hard it is to NOT think about it. I hate the scales for all the mental games they can play with us. Kudos to you for all the hard work you’re doing!
You are doing awesome!!
Proud of you for keeping up on everything! Making time for YOURSELF and your FAMILY makes you realize that there aren’t enough hrs in the day, but good for you for keeping up! The scale will EVENTUALLY show all your hard work, but having the extra energy alone is motivation. Great job!
Hanan, you are doing great! Always remember that the scale is only one way to measure your progress.
You’re doing great. I’ve been doing insanity for a week & I’m sporting a 3lb gain almost…the scale isn’t a real guide for healthy living. I love what you are doing for yourself.
I appreciate it, and hear you about that other poster. I would think the way this played out lends some credibility here. If not that’s fine, I’m not a reporter, and am just passing along info with proper disclaimers for the benefit of my fellow Ranger fans.
