Hello everyone! Hanan here, for week 2 of being a Mamavation Mom. You can check out my week 1 post here.
So much happened this past week.
After traveling, coming home, and finally getting back into the swing of things, I’m feeling much better now.
I can hardly believe it myself, but I lost even more pounds this past week. Putting me at a 11.6 lb weight loss since I applied to be a Mamavation Mom. That jump, right at the beginning was really a perfect way to start this campaign.
Over the past week, I have been working my butt off with the daily circuits. Which I’m not going to lie, is tough.
Alysa, from Inspired Results, sent me my nutrition plan which fits perfect with the foods I like, keeping my calories up for nursing, and over all just being really easy to use this week. Don’t worry, I will tell you more about those meal plans in the following weeks, as I get better with them and get my exchange book.
A few times this past week I have forgotten to eat my afternoon snack. Being a mom to three, I do often forget to stop and eat. Also, I have it embedded in my head to drink more water. I know I need extra water, with the exercising and nursing. Of course, I am struggling to remember that too.
If you haven’t joined the Mamavation Forums yet, you should. Everyone is so helpful. If you have a question, there is always someone to help or suggest. It’s been really helpful to log my food and exercise, get that support and advice from others.
A BIG HUG to my Mamavation Mentors Lolo, Andrea, and Lauren who all have been just plain awesome at helping us. They email, text, tweet me everyday and I couldn’t have asked for better mentors. Also, I would really like to thank Megan and Shannon for all our talks and your help this week. The whole sistahood is just awesome!
I have noticed that my oldest is asking questions like “Are we going to the gym today?” and the girls just love to exercise with me. It’s just a great feeling knowing I’m having an impact on them already.
Here’s a little more of what I have to say…

Thanks Theresa!! I’m trying!
You are doing amazing!!!! It’s hard, with babies and nursing and a husband and laundry that won’t go away….lol You WILL fit everything in and it won’t be so overwhelming anymore.
Thanks girl!
Hurrah, congratulations, that’s great news. Your ambition is admirable, and contagious!
Thank you Rose! That means a lot to me =)
Way to go! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Melanie!
NICE WORK!!!! Keep going!
Thank you!
Way To Go!!! You are totally going to rock your campaign… It will get harder as you go and then everything will click.. It will still be hard but you can totally do this! Talk with Alysa about maybe having your afternoon snack as optional that way if you need it its there but if you don’t it doesn’t affect your plan. Thats is what I needed to do with my morning snack
Congrats on the weight lost. It is hard when traveling, so you are doing the right thing. Hugs
Keep up the good work.
Great job!! Gotta love the weightloss right off the bat!!
LOVE how well you are doing! You rock, Hanan!
You are doing an awesome job, Hanan! I love your attitude and willingness to just do it!
Remembering ourselves is sometimes the hardest part. Sounds like you’re really doing a great job!
Indeed a great post, Apart from this I am a medical student and I am researching about world’s pioneer doctors. I am gathering information about Dr Susan Lim Singapore . As far as I got to know she performed the first successful liver transplant in Asia. She has received many awards & accolades. Around the globe, cases have been directed to her because of her skill set and technical expertise, and her continued research in new technology and developing cures. I will greatly appreciate if you can point to any further resources about her.
Wow! Way to go! To work hard and see the results is even more motivation to keep it up! Proud of you, can’t wait to see what the next few weeks hold!
you are doing so good, and I am so glad that you are here with us sharing your story each week! Hugs girl!
That is so awesome that your kids want to exercise with you!! Too cute! You are doing great Hanan! Whenever I am craving chocolate I have a glass of green tea. It really seems to help.
Hanan,
It sounds like you know what your tools are and you’re using them. You’re doing great, sista, and I’m so proud of your progress! Keep the pace and we’ll be cheering you on to the end!
Wonderful job! Glad you’re enjoying the food. Love that your girls are excited to workout with you at the gym.
Way to go! You’re making great progress already! Keep up the good work!
