Welcome to September, Mamavation Mom Campaign #13, and the new school year (Did I miss anything?)
With so much going on this month we here at Mamavation really want to make sure you don’t forget to take good care of yourself. Nutrition and fitness are both equally important even when you have to juggle 50 other things in your life. This week on Mamavation TV we will be talking about family meals that are both, fast and healthy.
Special Guest: Johanna Cook of Momma Cuisine (@mommacuisine)
Johanna M. Cook is the creator of MommaCuisine.com and host of the #MCShowLIVE; a cooking & talk show premiering on October 9, every Tuesday at 11 am CST on MommaCuisine.com. Her mission as Momma Cuisine is to show busy families that “Great Everyday Meals” can be made with simple ingredients and basic cooking techniques. What does Johanna know about being busy? A mom of 3 and a former restaurant industry professional of about 10 years, she is always on the go. I honestly can’t believe how much she has been able to accomplish just this year alone. She loves, loves, loves to cook and throw get-togethers for family and friends, and it’s importnat for Johanna to make food from scratch as much as she can and as often as she can. Johanna loves coffee – all day and every day, and maybe (just guessing) that’s what keeps her energized and happy.

Our new Mamavation Moms (can you believe we just started campaign 13?) are getting great nutritional help from Alysa, our campaign nutritionist, but I am sure, even they will benefit from Johanna Cook’s tips.

“Tina Kelley was born in raised near the Oregon Coast and she blames the rain for making her “squishy” as she’s gotten older. She is married to an Airman in the Air Force National Guard, but don’t ask her what he does because she doesn’t know anything except that it involves a whole bunch of alphabet soup. She has two young kids ages 5 and 7 as well as 2 fabulous step-daughters who are 20 and 21. She has also one gorgeous little grand-daughter, (it’s okay to call her Grandma as long as you follow it with, ‘You don’t look old enough to be a Grandma!’). Tina works from home as a blogger and social media manager for several local businesses and also part-time as a 9-1-1 dispatcher. Her goal for this Mamavation campaign is to not only be able to wear, but look damn good in a swimsuit!
Rachel (@Rachhabs)
Rachel is a stay at home momma of three kidlets & a husband named Adam. They live in the land of cheese & the Green Bay Packers. 
Rachel’s goal for the next seven weeks is to push her body to do things she didn’t think she could do again. Rachel used to play soccer all the time, swam on the swim & ran cross country in high school. She is ready to become that person again, shed at least 25 pounds in the next seven weeks, making a total weight loss of 39 pounds {since applying for this campaign in july she has already lost 14 pounds).
