How tough are you? I am a chicken when it comes to any kind of competitions or even training – I pase myself to make sure I can make it to the end of the course. Do you ever feel like you don’t have what it takes to complete the task? If you went through a Mamavation Mom bootcamp, finished 2 week challenge or ran a race, you are tougher than you might think and I am giving you virtual standing ovation.
We often don’t give ourselves enough credit for tackling every day problems – family crisys, last minute homework assignment your son forgot to metion, fundraisers, and endless doctor appointments. We are “do-it-all-moms” and we are tough as a rock. Don’t you ever forget that. Next time, you feel like walking away, think “I am tougher than this.”
Speaking of toughness, take a look at Mamavation Moms: they just completed dreaded week 3 and here is what they have to say:
Tina (@Madhattermom): I see your Hell Week and raise you a middle finger! That’s pretty much the attitude I have taken about this whole “Hell Week” thing. Sure, in the back of my mind I know that it’s probably coming for me, kind of like the boogeyman in all those scary movies I’ve watched, but it’s not going to stop me. Read more about Tina’s week
Rachel (@Rachhab): This week was a rough and long one for me. The kids going back to school, trying to get into a new routine and everything else left me feeling very overwhelmed, and at times very emotional. I could have easily given up this week. The reason why I didn’t quit is because I have people depending on me, watching me and most of all supporting me! Read more about Rachel’s week
