Running Into A Better Week

This 7 week journey is just as much as emotional as physical as someone smart told me this week. It was a reminder I needed, especially this week, because this week has really taken a toll on me emotionally. I haven’t really shared all that is going on in my world this week because for one I am feeling so overwhelmed that the last thing on my mind was to share everything. My mistake, and for that I am very sorry. When I signed up to do this I agreed to share the good, bad and ugly with you.

My week has included the following: my 3 year old’s seizures returning and more frequently then they have been in a long time. All three of my kiddos are sick this week and that means eventually I will end up catching it, and YAY that time has come. Oh how I wish there was a button to increase the sarcasm. Doing breathing treatments for the kids every 2 hours and then steroids every 4 hours. On top of all of that Adam has a surprise business trip and due to flight cancellations and 10 hours of delays that trip ended up lasting a lot longer. I think recently I took Adam’s help for granted because holy guacamole batman I need sleep and a break! I have looked forward to even doing pyramids even though I know my arms weren’t looking forward to it, because it was a break and some time for myself. For a moment, no one needed anything from me.

My runs this week have been a wham bam thank you ma’am, it’s not my goal or even what I want my runs to be but it was they way I had to look at getting my workouts in this week. I knew I didn’t have a lot of time, I certainly didn’t have energy but I made a commitment. I am looking forward to enjoying my runs this week and improving my times.

Speaking of running …. I have to show you my new running accessories from  New Balance!

LOVE running with these babies! Favorite running shoes to date!

Running for me is a release of energy, stress, frustration and don’t get me wrong it’s not always my favorite thing to do but sometimes it’s one of the few things that make a bad day better, or give you a new perspective. Not to mention I have always believed that you conquer anything in a good pair of shoes! Between these awesome running shoes and my improving times, life should be much better very soon. Other wise I will be grateful for this stress release!! I am planning on running every day this week to keep improving my times and continuing to train for my 5k in the beginning of December with my awesome friend Kristin or as you may know her @littlemamajama!

These shoes have definitely helped me to get lots of my daily steps in! Having a good pair of workout shoes is very important! Who wants to workout in shoes that will make their feet hurt or not give you proper support … Not me! Thankfully I don’t have that problem with my New Balance shoes! They have always been my go to brand and by far my favorite brand of running shoes!

THIS is what I call hell week. Because the circumstances are different for all of us, but we all reach that point where everything is spinning out of control. And you are still standing. Oh sure, you still feel overwhelmed and shaky but you are still standing. His for you and the kiddos and Adam. You are loved and adored. Always.
