Disclosure: Mamavation is partnering with the Mushroom Council to recruit 15 bloggers for a special 30 Day weight loss challenge.
It’s here, it’s here! The time has come to announce the 15 bloggers who have been selected to participate in the #MushroomMakeover 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge! Thank you to the 300+ people who applied for this challenge – you are all amazing! Luckily for us here at Mamavation, the sponsor picks the participants in the challenge because there were so many fantastic applicants for this campaign. Today we are going to announce the applicants, but first let’s take a look at the challenge again.
Our challengers will be compensated for swapping out all or part of the meat in four meals per week for mushrooms, sharing their experience on social media, creating content about the challenge, and attending a Twitter Party as the guests of honor to report their progress. Mushrooms are a wonderful weight loss tool because they are excellent ingredients to use to prepare meatless or blended meals (half of the meat replaced). When you replace all or part of the meat in a meal with mushrooms, you add add both nutrition and flavor while reducing calories in the dish. In order to help our bloggers with their swaps, we will be providing them with a mushroom-inspired weight loss nutrition plan from Mamavation Dietitian Corinne Dobbas, MS, RD and a fitness plan from Mamavation’s Personal Trainer Mark Segedie, as well as the support of our coaching team.
Mamavation is a healthy living community – we’ve found that when we participate as a community, it helps everyone. To that point, we are offering the official #MushroomMakeover fitness plan to all of our readers. Please feel free to download the workout plan and follow along with the bloggers as they work out – it will help to encourage and inspire them to see the community banding together with them and really supporting their weight loss goals!
