Dee, Elizabeth, and Toni are finishing up their Bootcamp, and we’re going to support their final official workouts with a Virtual 5k. Join us as we show them how awesome they are for dedicating 7 weeks of their lives to learning how to detox their homes and families while focusing on their overall health.
Whether you run, walk, or run AND walk, the point is that you’re moving with us for 3.1 miles. We would LOVE to have you join us as the Mamavation community hosts another virtual 5K to support our moms on March 1 and 2.
How do I join in?
It’s simple really. You don’t need to meet us anywhere. It’s virtual, so we will all be walking or running together in our own communities, but chatting about it online. All you have to do is go to MAP MY RUN and map out a 5K in your own neighborhood and run/walk it on March 1 or March 2.
When is it?
Saturday, March 1 or Sunday, March 2 – you choose which day works best for you!
What time should I start?
It doesn’t really matter, but most of our girls do it in the morning and mid-afternoon.
Who should I do it with?
You can do it by yourself, with your family, with some friends, etc. We just want YOU doing it.
Is there a special hashtag?
Is there a prize?
It’s Mamavation — of course there’s a prize! Four participants will be randomly selected from those who have entered and will receive a prize. Our prizes are TBD right now! Check back for more information!
How do I enter to win the prize?

AND THEN during the day of the 5K make sure to tweet a sweaty picture of yourself after it’s over using the hashtag #mamavation5k. We will be monitoring that hashtag and drawing a winner at random that evening. Don’t have Twitter? Submit your pic on the Facebook event page here.
What if I can’t run?
No worries. We also are encouraging walkers. It’s really just an excuse for you to get moving (and post that sweaty picture on Twitter!).
