When you work out, do you include any strength training? Many of the women in our Mamavation community are runners. Many attend classes at local gyms for their workouts. Still others walk or exercise to at-home DVDs to get their daily movement in. But how many of us are working out with weights for the purpose of strength training?
Perhaps one reason women don’t usually choose strength training as their regular workout is because we don’t generally feel comfortable or informed enough about how to properly lift or what routine to follow.
This week on Mamavation TV, we’ll be discussing strength training specifically for women.
What’s Mamavation TV?
Mamavation TV is a weekly show that is hosted by Leah Segedie that is broadcast live on Google+ and YouTube every Monday night at 6pm PST/9pm EST. Sarah Stanley – Formally a sponsored endurance athlete & ultramarathon runner, Sarah is a lifelong entrepreneur and health/fitness/good cause advocate. Sarah is a plant-based ultra endurance athlete and educates others on health misconceptions, the importance of eating real food and food labels.
