Over the past ten years, I’ve changed a great deal about my health. It’s brought me from barely walking at a size 22 to being in perfect health and achieving weight loss, energy, better mental health and a healthier happier family. I’m very particular with what I recommend to my community because it reflects my transformation. I’ve collected some of my recommendations for your family on this page. Some of these links are affiliate in nature, but not all. You won’t be charged anymore by clicking on affiliate links but they DO support my work and keep us working on solutions for your family.

NonGMO, Organic & Allergy-Friendly Food

When it comes to the food we eat, it’s a no-brainer. This is something we take seriously as a family. We want to provide the best we can and we want to make sure we do it within our budget. I have a couple of tricks up my sleeve about how I find things at an affordable rate.  Join Thrive Market for 30-50% off retail prices for non-GMO food & natural consumer products. Click here for a  free 2 month membership, free shipping & 15% off your first order. It’s all non-gmo food with tons of organic, allergy-friendly and totally savvy. They come to your door with sustainable packaging and at a deep discount, and if you spend more than $50 the shipping is ALWAYS free. I can’t get enough of Thrive Market. Here are some examples of things I will get:

Now when it comes to food, I recognize that it isn’t what is used to be. Chemical intensive farming practices have changed the health of the soil around the world. In fact, the UN estimates that we only have 60 years of good topsoil left. And if we continue on this pattern, that literally means in the future, we will need more water to get less food. As someone living in California, the salad bowl of the United States, I’m concerned. We don’t have enough water to feed all of you anymore.

But is the food less nutritious right now? Well, yes. This is why I believe in supplementation. That basically means that because the nutrients are different, the food we eat is less nutritious as well. We are literally starving even though we eat a high caloric diet.
